Established in December 2006, The Cornerstone Bar & Restaurant has quickly become one of Blenheim's favourite places to meet mates for after work drinks, indulge in a long lunch in the quiet courtyard or get together with friends for morning coffee and muffins.

Owner and manager Ryan McQuillan says creating a welcoming, spacious and contemporary space was the most significant consideration when he began developing the restaurant and bar.

Ryan wanted to create a restaurant and bar with a "city bar" look, and comments from patrons have been consistently good, with people saying it is nice to be able to come to town dressed up and not feel out of place.

Raised by publican parents Maurice and Lyn McQuillan, and spending time working in the Irish hospitality industry, Ryan brings his wide experience to running one of Blenheim's most popular bars.
